Rest easy sir we have the watch from here.

We are devastated to share the news of the sudden passing of Pleasant View Volunteer firefighter Clint Schurr. Clint was a hardworking dedicated firefighter who always put the teams needs ahead of himself. His quirky sense of humor and friendly nature will be deeply missed at the fire house and on calls. He always showed up with determination and a willing spirit. He was always encouraging his fellow firefighters and had a great perception off people's needs and took care of lots of little things that made a big difference.
Pleasant View Volunteers are grieving along side the Schurr family. Please keep the Schurr family and volunteers in your prayers during this very difficult time.

Today, we honor those who put everything on the line and paid the ultimate price. When a firefighter goes down, it’s not just a life lost — it’s a hole torn in the fabric of a crew, a family, and a community. These are the people who ran toward the flame when everyone else ran from it. Their sacrifice is not forgotten. Their courage lives on in the boots still on the ground, in the smoke-filled skies, and in the stories we carry forward.

We remember. We respect. We carry them with us.
