Just A friendly reminder! That the Southwest Memorial Hospital Foundation will be Host a fundraiser this Wednesday from 5-7pm at wildedge brewing collective. And that for every pint of monkey wrench ale that gets sold a dollar will be donated to the foundation. The proceeds go to fund our cancer care grant which help with any of the costs accrued over the course of cancer treatment. Come meet the board! And maybe voluteer we have 4 seats available

At Southwest Medical Group, Dr. Ben Carelock has joined forces with our Southwest Memorial Hospital Foundation and our local RUN + HIKE store for a shoe drive! They are seeking donations of new shoes for The Bridge Shelter.

Shoes can be dropped off at Dr. Carelock’s office. Leather hiking-style shoes are best. Currently looking for a size 6.5, then hoping to fill in sizes 8-10. Donors may submit a receipt, along with their name and email address, and then be provided a certificate of donation for tax deductions.

Donations to Enterprise Zone Projects of $250 or more are eligible for State tax credits.
Southwest Memorial Hospital Foundation supports the SW Memorial Hospital to provide accessible healthcare for the people of Montezuma and Dolores Counties. Over the next five years help the Foundation fund a variety of projects to upgrade and replace critical infrastructure throughout the hospital including air, heating, water, and electrical systems and efficiency upgrades will allow the hospital to continue to serve the community for years to come.

Ride of the Ancients was a great success! We had 85 amazing riders and raised over $5000 for cancer care! Thank you to all of our volunteers for your hard work and our sponsors for your support! We’re particullary grateful to and Cortez Retail Enhancement for their continued support! This could t have been done without our rockstar ride director, Ashley Carelock!

Ben Voymas, an Osprey employee out of Ogden, Utah, had the fastest time in the Ride of the Ancients century ride Oct. 8.
