🐔 Here we have Ms. Chicken, aka Ms. Jaqi, showing off a “Plan While You Can” poster from TxDOT!

Our Youth Programs team is always finding fun and engaging ways to start important conversations about prevention and making healthy choices.

Did You Know? In 2025, Texas youth ages 12–17 were reported to be 10.6% less likely to use alcohol compared with the national average for their age group.

Prevention starts with education, conversation, and giving young people the tools they need to make informed decisions.

Could your school or community benefit from prevention resources and activities like these?

October is officially here!
As spooky season kicks off, many of us are looking forward to costume parties and Halloween celebrations. If you’re planning your activities, remember that a great night doesn’t have to include alcohol.
Trick-or-treating with family or organizing a Halloween game night with friends are awesome ways to celebrate safely and create lasting memories.

Did You Know? Raising the legal drinking age to 21 has played an important role in reducing underage alcohol use and alcohol-related harm among young people.

Our Project Turnaround team turned prevention education into a creative conversation by challenging students to design their own alcohol warning labels! 🎨

Their designs highlight the real risks of underage drinking while transforming art into impactful prevention messages.

Eye-catching “bottles” like **Captain Moron** and **Be Wiser** grab attention, spark conversation, and give students a creative way to share the facts about underage drinking.

Education + creativity = prevention that sticks. 💡

Our Project H.O.P.E. Coalition has a plethora of amazing community partners such
Elevate 361 Young Adult ReEngagement Center!
Best described by their website, "Elevate 361 is more than just a center; it's a beacon of hope for young adults in Corpus Christi."
The Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation had the honor of hosting this vital community resource's annual recognition event with this year's theme being "Sea Our Success!" on Wednesday, September 23rd.

This was an evening full of highlighting the amazing work Elevate does for the youth of Nueces County and the community partners who make it this work possible. From TX Driving School to The Purple Door to our own Project H.O.P.E., Elevate 361 has a wide range of community partners with the same mission in mind: Empowering Youth for a Brighter Future!

We are so grateful for community partners like Elevate 361!
Here is to continuing our amazing partnership and helping more youth in the Coastal Bend!
