Seventy-seven years ago today, Cornwall Manor opened its doors to our first eleven residents. Since then , our community has grown and touched the lives of many.
Today, we celebrate our rich history and are grateful for all of our residents and dedicated staff who make Cornwall Manor such a wonderful place to live, work and call home.

Good food, great teammates, and lots of appreciation! 🎉

Today's employee recognition event was a special way to thank the amazing employees who help our community thrive. Staff enjoyed a delicious meal from Castaneda's while spending time together and celebrating the hard work and dedication that make a difference every day.

We appreciate each and every member of our team. Thank you for all you do!

What a fantastic Friday at Cornwall Manor! 🚗✨

Our Cornwall Cruisers Car Show at The Clubhouse brought together residents, team members and community guests for an afternoon filled with beautiful classic and custom vehicles, great conversations and plenty of fun. Visitors enjoyed browsing an impressive collection of cars, savoring hamburgers and hot dogs fresh off the grill, and treating themselves to delicious ice cream from the Twisted Creamery Ice Cream Truck. 🍔🍦

The fun didn't stop there! We wrapped up the day with a lively concert featuring Mitch & the Moodswings, whose energetic performance had everyone tapping their toes and enjoying a perfect fall evening together. 🎶

A special thank you to the Cornwall Cruisers, Mitch & the Moodswings, our Dining Services team and everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success. We love opportunities to bring our residents and the greater community together for memorable experiences!

🌱 Happy National Farmers Day! 🚜

Today, we celebrate the farmers who work tirelessly to nourish our communities and care for the land. We're especially grateful for the Rodale Institute team behind our on-site USDA Organic Trailside Farm, where fresh produce is grown just steps from our community.

From planting and harvesting to supporting sustainable agriculture, Trailside Farm helps bring healthy, locally grown food to our residents while creating meaningful connections to the farming tradition. Join us in thanking the farmers whose dedication makes it all possible! We appreciate you, Maria, Kim, Katie and Delayne!

A Night in Italy at Cornwall Manor 🇮🇹🎶

Last Thursday evening, residents enjoyed a memorable Italian dining experience in the Clubhouse, featuring a delicious buffet inspired by classic Italian cuisine. Guests savored favorites including antipasti salad, baked ziti, sausage with roasted red peppers and mushrooms, chicken parmigiana and an assortment of Italian desserts.

Adding a delightful twist to the evening, the event's "mystery chefs" turned out to be the entertainment! Residents were treated to beautiful live opera performances, filling the auditorium with music and creating an authentic Italian atmosphere that perfectly complemented the meal.

From great food to outstanding musical talent, it was an evening filled with laughter, surprises, and wonderful memories shared with friends and neighbors.

🍁 We added a little extra fun to Podiatry Day in the Wellness Office this week!

Residents enjoyed fall treats and played "2 Truths and a Lie" with our Wellness Office team and Campus Social Worker. There were plenty of laughs, surprises and opportunities to get to know one another a little better.

The game was such a success that we're keeping it going all week long. Even some staff members couldn't resist joining in! 😊

While the Wellness Office is known for providing essential health services right here on campus, including preventative care, health screenings, immunizations, physician office hours, pharmacy services and care coordination, it's also a place where meaningful relationships are built every day. This week's activity was a fun reminder that wellness includes social connection and community, too.
