We had a great Community & Government Day today! Thank you to everyone who made it possible!

Great to join State Representative Russ Diamond and PA State Rep. John Schlegel this morning to meet with the Leadership Lebanon Valley Class of 2026! As a former graduate of the program, I know firsthand the value it provides in developing a diverse group of leaders who are committed to strengthening our community.

Leadership Lebanon Valley Class of 2026 spent Agriculture Day with an early morning start with Breakfast at The Fair - feasting on a delicious omelette and learning about land preservation, growing the economy and how to find the balance for the Lebanon Valley.
Then it’s off to learn more about Mark Hershey farms and how they impact our local farmers, primarily the dairy farmers with the nutrients they provide.
Back to The Fair for lunch of their choice, but which most likely includes a milkshake.
Then off to Royal Oaks Farms to hear about growing flowers and how their Agri-business has been “growing” (pun intended) and balancing that business with the dairy farm.
Last we visit Talview Farms and get a first-hand perspective on Dairy Farming and how they make it work for them and their family. Thanks to all our hosts and to Horizon Farm Credit for Sponsoring Ag Day!
