Festival is This Sunday, August 28, 3-5pm
Hope you can make it to this FREE event!!

Calling all Creekside Residents, Friends and Family!! Penn State is throwing another party to in honor of the Snitz Creek Restoration Project! August 28, 3-5pm
This family friendly festival will feature:
- Scott Stanley and his large collection of honey samples from around the world. He will also be bringing a demonstration honeybee hive.
- The Governor Dick Environmental Center will be bringing information and display materials on native wildlife with a focus on mammals.
- There will be an informative nature walk.
- The Penn State Ag and Environment Center team will have a table with information on their projects.
- Penn State will also lead a Citizen Science (FISH: First Investigation of Stream Health) mini-workshop.
- There will be a trivia type game and a tree id matching game for kids to participate in.
- There will be some sort of give away for shrubs and/or wildflower seeds. fun activities and much more...
Penn State will update the community on the improved Snitz Creek area and we will learn how this restoration keeps water clear and wildlife happy! Tour the area and spend time with your family, maybe have a picnic...
This is an "all ages" event. We hope you join us for a fun filled afternoon!

The North Cornwall Police Dept. will be hosting a Bike Rodeo in Creekside. It will be on Sunday, June 12th from 3-5 pm at the Village Center. There will be some safety instructions by the officers, a fun obstacle course and giveaways! Bring your Bikes!!!

We do need a count of those attending in order for the Police Department to be able to conduct this event. So, please spread the word to your neighbors and let me know if you and your children, grandchildren or nieces and nephews will be able to attend!

Please rsvp to Rachael at [email protected] with the number of participating children. There will also be an "event" to respond to on our community page.

Hi All, Mountain View Magazine is looking for some for their "Senior Spotlight...featuring a senior resident that wants to contribute for that month or more.... poetry, art work, stories of the good ole days, jokes, woodworking, whatever. I would just love to be able to showcase the talents of that generation."
