GOOD FOOD with a side of major PREJUDICE
The food at Winner Circle Saloon is good. However, the experience for LGBTQ patrons tells a different story.
To someone’s face, the establishment may appear welcoming. But when that person — who is openly gay — tagged the saloon in positive posts, photos, and videos that reflected good memories from their visit, they were blocked on social media once the venue realized they were gay.
LGBTQ guests reportedly cannot spend time there without facing harassment from openly homophobic customers. Rather than addressing that behavior, the establishment appears to side with those individuals. There have also been reports of a gay man who brought positive energy to the space and brightened the atmosphere, only for the saloon to turn on him after homophobic patrons complained.
While the food may be enjoyable, LGBTQ individuals looking for a safe and welcoming environment should be aware of these experiences.
