FOUNDATION OF THE AMERICAS is a non-profit organization that promotes peace, tolerance, and understanding. Through its Seven (7) Pillars the Foundation represents philanthropic success and giving in the following areas: Arts, Women & Children, Community, Education, Environment, Health, and Science. The Mission is to develop initiatives to support philanthropic efforts. One of the goals is to mobilize partners and resources to converge the challenging and expanding needs for transnational charitable giving. Setting the stage to address the following, the Foundation of the Americas can:
1. Influence national and international policies.
2. Project a world vision of understanding and tolerance.
3. Care for humankind while increasing dignity.

Algún día voy a cambiar los escenarios por una bata blanca.

Durante años, mi vida ha sido una carrera contra el tiempo.

Ensayos. Aeropuertos. Luces. Gritos detrás del escenario. El sonido de miles de personas cantando una canción que alguna vez escribí sola.

Y aun así, hay una parte de mí que nunca dejó de mirar hacia otro lado.

Ahora he dicho algo que quizá sorprenda a muchos: cuando mi etapa musical disminuya, quiero estudiar Medicina.

No es una ocurrencia reciente.

Durante la pandemia ya había buscado refugio en el estudio y llegué a completar un programa de Filosofía Antigua en línea.

Mientras el mundo estaba en pausa, yo necesitaba seguir aprendiendo.

Quizá por eso hoy no me asusta imaginar otra vida después de los conciertos.

Durante mucho tiempo pensé que mi historia tenía que continuar exactamente como había empezado: canción, escenario, viaje, canción.

Pero la vida también cambia de ritmo.

Una carrera puede darte una identidad.

El aprendizaje puede devolverte la curiosidad.

Y quizá esa sea una de las cosas más bonitas de cumplir años: descubrir que todavía puedes convertirte en alguien nuevo sin dejar de ser quien eres.

He pasado media vida frente a micrófonos.

Tal vez mi próximo capítulo empiece escuchando el latido de alguien.
