Who needs a smushy faced pocket pittie 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏾‍♂️??!! Baby is the total package. She’s young and she’s dog, cat, and kid friendly (currently lives with cats, farm animals, and dogs of all sizes). She still has some puppy tendencies (we think she’s around 2) but she is overall a truly awesome dog and can be playful but really likes to snuggle with her people. Baby’s story was a sad one: she was either thrown from a moving car or hit by a car that didn’t stop, resulting in broken bones and a life threatening diaphragmatic hernia. She received lifesaving surgery, healed up, and underneath all that was the sweetest little girl. She’s currently in Homestead FL but transport is available up the east coast. Message us about Baby!

Update: Adoption Pending!!

Bibi is just the sweetest, tiniest little senior, the type of dog people are usually begging us for. She has been posted and then we got crickets. Can you share with someone who might be interested in her? She’s in Atlanta but she can pack her bags and hit the road for the right family up the east coast. She is 5 lbs, 12, loves people, good with other dogs, and just sweet beyond measure. She deserves to start the rest of her life! Please share.

We recently said goodbye to Joe, a very good old boy who was rescued from Pickens County Animal Shelter last spring. At the time he was thought to be 16-17 and he lived much longer than any of us expected, but recently his body really started to fail him. Julie said yes to fostering Joe without hesitation and gave him a wonderful last chapter of his life. We are immensely grateful to her. Some people can’t understand how people take on senior dogs knowing they won’t have them for very long, but to those that do, the heartbreak of losing them is far outweighed by the joy of giving them a good end of life. Thanks to Julie for loving Joe and thanks to everyone who takes the chance on a senior dog knowing that though their time with them may be shorter than they want, it is always worthwhile ❤️‍🩹.

Forever foster found!

Welp, this guy is officially breaking our hearts. He’s a super senior big boy and he’s currently stuck at a shelter in North GA. We would love to find someone between Atlanta, Dalton, and Blue Ridge (or a reasonable distance from there) to take this guy on as a likely forever foster (medical expenses covered by us). He has some mobility issues and will need bloodwork. He is potty trained, adores people, and is good with other dogs. He needs a soft place to land out of the shelter asap. Can anyone be his hero?

Hi, I’m Bibi! I have just one ear (nobody knows why that is) and personally I think it makes me even cuter. I’m tiny, love my dog and human friends, and love the princess treatment. I don’t really know why my family abandoned me in my golden years - I always try to be a good girl. Now I’m looking for a new home with people who will love me until the end. If you have a spare home and lap, message these nice people to adopt me! I’m in Atlanta now but I can travel to you up the east coast. Hope to meet you soon! Please share me.

Meet Pokey! He’s the sweetest senior yorkie with so much love and life in him. He is currently fostered with another small dog and gets along well with dogs. He’s playful and active for his age and an all around super sweet and healthy little guy. He came into the shelter in dire need of a haircut and we don’t really know how his story went up til now, but he’s ready for an amazing last chapter. Please reach out if you’re interested - he is in Atlanta currently but transport is available up the east coast. This is a special little guy!!

South Florida peeps - can anyone help this sweet guy? He will need an enucleation on his eye but he’s otherwise healthy, friendly, good with dogs etc etc. We need a foster or foster to adopt to be able to help him. He’s generally pretty chill, young, hasn’t had any accidents, good boy. Message us if you can help. Not neutered yet. Message us please 🆘.
