Today is . Starting in 1996, a coalition of labor unions, professional associations, civil rights organizations and individuals has been fighting to open people’s eyes to the realities of implicit discrimination in the workplace and around the paycheck.

On average, Black women typically make just 58 cents for every dollar paid to white, non-Hispanic men. The pandemic and social unrest about racial injustice have amplified existing inequities in America. The time is NOW to pay black women wages they deserve.
