Last week’s Teddy Bear Toss was a huge success. We collected around 630 bears to donate to the Kids’ HOPE Center. What a great collaboration between Southwestern Oregon Community College Junior Chamber of Commerce, The Lions Club, The Soldiers of Compassion, The Kids’ HOPE Center, Banner Bank, Cardinal Services, and the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Junior Chamber is so incredibly thankful for the Coos Bay–North Bend Lions Club! 🧸💙

Because of their generous donation, we were able to purchase well over 100 stuffed animals to bring to the Teddy Bear Toss this Wednesday!

These stuffed animals will be thrown onto the court and donated to the Kids’ HOPE Center, bringing comfort and care to children in our community who need it most.

President Oliva and I dropped off about sixty Party in a Pan cake kits today to South Coast Food Share and CASA. Huge thanks to the Southwestern Community College Bookstore, North Bend Grocery Outlet, Mojos, and the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce for serving as our drop off sites. We appreciate you all so much. Stay tuned for more pics and a peek at our tour. And thanks again to everyone who pitched in. We even have enough supplies to build another 50 kits or so in February for a second round of donations!!!
