⚠️⚠️⚠️FILING FALSE OR INACCURATE REPORT(S) / ALLEGATION(S) TO THE I.R.S. CONSTITUTES A FEDERAL OFFENSE⚠️⚠️⚠️
There appears to be “confusion” regarding the nonprofit status of Oregon's Bay Area and its obligations under IRS regulations concerning political endorsements. Notably, this confusion is being perpetuated by disgraced former radio host . Recently, Mr. Taylor was issued a cease-and-desist letter by legal representation of Oregon State , admonishing him to desist from defamatory remarks against the District 1 legislator. Additionally, Mr. Taylor and his associates habitually engage in defamatory conduct and harassment towards one of our administrators, baselessly accusing him of being a pe*****le and participating in other criminal behavior. For the record, Coos Commons Protection Council, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, acquired the Oregon's Bay Area page in May of 2023. Any past partisan political engagements on the platform are beyond the purview of IRS regulations. Furthermore, there are no prohibitions precluding Oregon's Bay Area from reporting on political activities, whether partisan or otherwise, as it functions as a news outlet. Another individual, , a local home daycare operator, has threatened to lodge false charges with the IRS. Public records reveal previous instances of restraining orders filed against Mr. Estes in Visalia, California, citing harassment. It appears Mr. Estes intends to persist in such behavior within the state of Oregon. It should be emphasized that filing false reports with law enforcement constitutes unlawful conduct, and submitting false reports to the IRS constitutes a federal offense.
