Meet Coletta Manske, whose versatility and depth bring both light and poignancy to our production!

From her comedic brilliance as the Life Cafe waiter to her touching portrayal of resilient humanity in the face of hardship, Coletta captures the full spectrum of East Village life. Whether she's delivering her beautiful featured holiday solo or showing grace under pressure as a homeless person maintaining dignity despite brutal circumstances, she embodies the spirit of hope that runs through this story.

We always have fun physical warmups before rehearsal. Tonight, Stacy led us in a Mexican folk dance called Los Machetes. Despite the entreaties of the basses, we did it with sticks instead of real machetes. Maybe next time, basses!

After a long leave of absence, bass singer Kathy Walsh came back to rehearsal tonight! What a blessing to sing with Kathy again! Welcome back! 🎶

Just learned that Marti Kelley passed away. She sang with us for a while until her health problems got too bad, and was always an enthusiastic friend of the chorus.
