Robert Martin Hiett, 70, of Germantown, Tennessee, passed away on April 5, 2026. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on February 24, 1956, and graduated from college from UCA. He was Director of Municipal Trading with Vining Sparks of Memphis for over 30 years. He made so many beautiful friends over those years during his career that he referred to Vining Sparks as “his home”. The Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, May 3rd, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 5668 Poplar Ave. It will be a true tribute to his beautiful life of caring and to the many lives he filled with love. It will tell his story of hobbies, showcase his talents, and his accomplishments. It will be a testament to what a wonderful man, better known as “Pop,” contributed during his lifetime.
Rob is preceded in death by his parents, Grace and Darrell Hiett. Also, by his mother-in-law, Catherine Stoop, Holden Wayne Rogers, Debra Hiett, and Patsy Hiett. He is survived by his wife, Susan Hiett, his son, JD Rogers, his daughter-in-law, Becca Rogers, and the “Love of His Life,” grandson Hiett Rogers. He is also survived by his brother, Dennis Hiett, and his nephews Joe and Clay Hiett. As well as his sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Roy Heathcock. He also leaves Gretchen Hiett, 2 beautiful grand-nieces, Ava Claire, and Laura Grace, along with 2 wonderful grand-nephews, Cameron and Warren.
