Meet this handsome fella! 🐶 He’s an Akita/Bernese Mountain Dog mix, around 1½–2 years old, and he’s got brains, good looks, and enough loyalty to make your GPS jealous and his name is Fin.

Here’s the deal: he’s an amazing dog—smart, loving, and ready to be someone’s shadow. Unfortunately, town life and a busy family just aren’t his style. He’s dreaming of a place where he has room to stretch those long legs, sniff every blade of grass, and remind squirrels who’s in charge. 🌲🐿️

Think of him as the “country gentleman” type. He’d rather trade traffic for trails and chaos for calm.

If you’ve been looking for a devoted companion with a big heart (and probably an even bigger appetite), this might be your guy.

Vet day. It was a little bit of a challenge, but we made it.🤣🤣 first time to the vet with the bus, but it won’t be the last🚐🐶🐕🦮🐩🐕‍🦺

Meet Zane! 🐾

This adorable little guy is Zane, a 4-month-old Pit Bull mix who’s ready to find his forever home! ❤️

Zane is full of puppy energy, loves to play, and is incredibly affectionate. He enjoys being around people and is looking for someone to call his very own.

Zane came to Purgatory Pet Refuge as a surrender. We were able to get him into safety before his situation became much worse, and now he’s getting the love and care he deserves.

He does have one small quirk—when he gets nervous or overly excited, he may dribble a tiny bit of urine. It’s very minor, and with patience, love, and consistency, we’re confident he’ll continue to improve.

Your adoption fee helps us continue rescuing dogs just like Zane and gives another homeless animal a chance at a better life.
