**** IMPORTANT ANNOUNCMENT *****

For the last four and a half years it has been my honor and privilege to spend my free time meeting and networking with you extraordinary people. Together we have helped 44 families in need that were living with cancer and raised a total of $22,423.23 that would have otherwise never made it into their hands. Honestly, words cannot fully express just how grateful I am to have had your unrelenting love and support of this project.

With that being said, I have decided it is time to step back and take a break from helping others so I may focus on myself. Therefore, as of Monday, 8/2/2021, all project activities have been postponed until further notice.

Much love and many positive vibes,
Mathew

Good Morning Everyone,

It is with a heavy heart that we must share an unfortunate update with you all. Recently, we were notified that this month's recipient is no longer with us; therefore, we will be donating June's proceeds to her family to help cover left-over medical bills and funeral costs.

Last year, her husband had a stroke and was left completely blind. This beautiful soul stepped up to become the primary caretaker of her love and then a short time later began having issues herself. Unfortunately, her cancer was too far along and caught too late to be properly treated. She was given six weeks, but sadly did not make it that long...

Thank you to anyone and everyone who shows their support to this family. We know they will be beyond appreciative for all the love and support you are showing during this difficult time.
❤❤❤

My Why

In 2013, at the age of 23, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Not having been able to work that whole year prior, many of the living expenses had been pushed onto my girlfriend at that time. She did her best to take care of all the finances while taking care of me at the same time, but we still struggled. During treatment, two benefits were held for me to help fully pay for those expenses. I cannot express how truly grateful I was, and still am to this day, for those benefits. Those donations, as well as the unrelenting love and support, were incredibly overwhelming. They made the experience, as a whole, one of growth instead of destruction.

As a result of that life experience, I hope to pay it forward by utilizing Michigan's bottle return policy and aluminum scrap recycling process to help financially aid those battling cancer in Southwest Michigan.
