Congratulations to this year’s Rotary Club of Conroe scholarship recipients from Conroe High School, Conroe ISD (CHS) and Washington High School, Conroe ISD (BTWHS).

Today, we hosted CHS graduates Valerie Castrejon, who will attend Texas A&M University in the fall, and Daimy Andrade, who will attend the University of Texas at Austin. They were joined by the club’s Interact sponsors for CHS (Ron Saikowski) and BTWHS (Vicki Caswell), along with CHS College & Career counselor Jessica Beckham, and BTWHS principal Chris White and counselor Rachelle Perry. Also pictured: Rotary Club of Conroe President Clarence Lewis. Not pictured: CHS scholarship recipient Sarai Sandoval, and BTWHS scholarship recipients Azhya Johnston and Shakye South, who were both traveling out of state this week. Special thanks to CHS faculty/staff Interact sponsor Lizell Moen, and BTWHS faculty/staff Interact sponsor Jessica Davies.

The books are a signature project of the club where the book is personalized with information about the first grader's teachers and friends.
