A wonderful day in Connellsville today! Every year, the Rotary Club of Connellsville awards grants in varying amounts to fund community projects and organizations. In 2025, over $13,000 was awarded to 30 different groups. This year, the Rotary Club proudly awarded 35 grants to local organizations at the beautiful Aaron’s Building. The funds are raised by the annual Elimination Dinner coordinated by the Rotary Club. A wonderful lunch was served and then the awards were presented. Each awardee spoke of what the funds would be used for and how their efforts play a vital role in helping others in our community. President Kevin Ghost did an excellent job announcing each recipient. The event was well attended by Rotarians from the club. Details of each award will be printed in an upcoming issue of the Daily Courier. For more information on the grants, please visit: www.connellsvillerotary.org.

The Rotary Club of Connellsville meets every Thursday at noon at Bud Murphy’s in Connellsville. If you are community minded and want to learn more about our projects, please join us for lunch!
