1st Week: June 22 - 26 🎨🖌️ A program dedicated to ages 8 - 12, Youth will explore a variety of art projects and learn how to connect art to story telling!
2nd Week: June 29 - July 03 📸 A program dedicated to ages 13 - 17. Youth will learn how to use film photography cameras & connect history + storytelling!

The Community Archive Fellowship Gallery opening was everything.🤎
13 weeks of work, love, and storytelling- all on the walls for the world to see. Seeing families, friends, and community come through to celebrate our fellows made it all worth it.

We’re continuing Color Compton’s *Spring in Color* programming with even more community events and expanded youth programming!

Join us for an eventful month 🌟 We’re kicking things off with our Mother’s Day Photoshoot — now SOLD OUT! Thank you to everyone participating, we appreciate you 💛

We still have free community events coming up, including a Tin Embossing Workshop where you can create a special craft for moms and/or yourself ♥️

The Compton Museum will also be hosting several events this month! We begin with Lincoln Memorial Clean-Up Day, where we’re honoring those who have passed by caring for and beautifying the cemetery 💚

This is also the final month to experience our current exhibition, *The Power of Love*. And on May 21st, the museum will be open late for a special Book Talk 📚

Youth will have the opportunity to explore and learn different art mediums, have access to art materials, and go home with a new skill to develop!

Middle School Hours are from 9am - 12pm
High School hours are from 1pm - 4pm
