Bring your memories & we’ll help you keep them. 📂✨️

Drop in Friday, August 28 from 4–7 PM and preserve your family archives and precious memories. We can help you digitize photographs, newspaper articles, film negatives, VHS tapes, and more!

We’ll also have a Japanese bookbinding scrapbook workshop, bringing together archiving, storytelling, and craft. 📚

This is a free, drop-in event open to everyone! RSVP link in bio. We’re doing this on the last weekend of every month, so mark your calendar and spread the word!

Toro Summer Academy Recap

This summer we once again had the immense opportunity to teach during the Toro 6-week summer program held at CSUDH. Students were able to learn varies different art mediums, the history behind these mediums, and the roles they have played in different movements throughout history and today in society. We were able to teach the arts of candle-making, trompo spinning, graffiti, print making, painting, screen printing, journaling their own stories and more. Thank you to all the students for always attending classes on time and coming ready to learn. We had an incredible time learning from each and every one of you.

~Summer Art Bootcamp Recap~

We had an amazing time! This summer for our art bootcamp students got to work on clay figures, varies paintings and learn the techniques to creating a collective documentary together. Thank you to all the students for joining us, we had a blast hanging out with you all.

We’re starting off the month with Community Workshops! This upcoming Friday August 7th!

We will do a Cyanotype Workshop, we will provide all materials and all ages welcome ☀️
Our second workshop we are doing a wall candle holder where you get to come in and paint them! Some beautiful decor for your space at home.

Continuing the month with our monthly photo walks with Developed In Compton | Film Lab stay tuned for time and location!
And to finish off the month we are hosting a If These Streets Could Talk Workshop” lets in-vision a Neighborhood together with a zine making workshop✂️
