POV: We forced our manager Ryan to do another workshop reminder 😭

His last reminder video didn’t get much love, so we’re hoping this one does a little better. 😂

All jokes aside, don’t let Ryan’s hard work go to waste! 🧵 Join us for our Hand Embroidery Workshop this Thursday, October 15th, from 11 AM to 2 PM!

No experience needed, beginners are always welcome!

We’re proud to have taken four students from the NAF program at Compton High School to the 2026 SNAP Teen Summit in Santa Monica! 💛

The SNAP Teen Summit gave our students the opportunity to take learning beyond the classroom and experience a new environment centered around creativity, collaboration, technology, and career exploration.

Throughout the Summit, students worked together, shared their ideas, explored how technology can be used to support issues they care about, and learned the importance of communication and other soft skills they’ll carry with them into their future careers.

These are the kinds of opportunities we want to continue creating for young people in Compton. It’s about exposing students to new possibilities, helping them build confidence in their ideas, and giving them opportunities to see what their future can look like!

A huge thank you to Snapchat for creating such a meaningful experience for our students and giving young people a space to think creatively, collaborate, and explore what’s possible. 👻💛

And a special shoutout to Nia, our Program Manager, who leads our after-school program and continues to pour into our students, encourage their growth, and connect them with opportunities like this. 👏🏽
