🌈 Rest easy, Felipe 🩷

Yesterday, we finally caught this boy who has been evading all traps for months. His condition had significantly decreased in the last few weeks and we were finally able to trap. We took him immediately to our veterinarian late last night, where we decided it was time to say goodbye 🩷 It is believed he had cancer which destroyed the majority of his face. He had no nose left.

Felipe was one heck of a fighter - you can tell by his condition. He fought until the end. But now he can rest.

Rest in peace, buddy. May the next life be better 🌈

✨️💜 14 Beans 💜✨️

14 Beans was born with only half his back left leg, which is why he only has 14 of the typical 18 beans that the stock models come with. He does not consider this a loss. After having the other half of his leg amputated due to the bones being fused, Beans has been in sport mode and is thinking about adding a spoiler. Since his return, Beans has been celebrated for returning to full-time play with other cats in record time. Should his little guy stand underneath you for a pit stop, be sure to pet him and feel his motor purr.

✨️💜 Super "Snoopy" Hans 💜✨️

Crepuscular by nature, Super "Snoopy" Hans has sunken eyes from too much partying at dawn and dusk. He was dealt a rough lot in life but that won't stop him living life to the fullest. Like his Peep Show namesake, Super Hans is on a mad one! With good experience playing with kittens his own age, as well as a few older cats, this guy is ready for anything. When he's not out and rolling about, he's filling his face with as much food as a kitten can eat. Motivation is not an issue for this guy! If you are lucky enough to go home with him, you will not regret it.

Super Hans has been patiently waiting to find his forever home. He was abandoned in a box, on the sidewalk with eyes crusted shut, as a kitten. The wonderful Cat took him in and provided excellent care for him. He then went to foster with another amazing foster of ours Spence ✨ who also is currently fostering 14 Beans, Please Sir, Can I have some more? and Count Binface, leader of the Recyclons. Super Hans has befriended all of his housemates and would love a home with another friend.

So this is what we woke up to 🫠

The focus of our rescue is kitten prevention. We will always prioritize spaying a pregnant cat, no matter how far along they are. A colony caretaker reached out this week, desperate to get this pregnant lady spayed. Unfortunately, she decided to skip the clinic and give birth overnight. One of these days, we were bound to end up in this situation. So, off to foster they go. Thank you Natasha & kitties for stepping up at the very last second to foster.

🤩 Meet our amazing team of volunteers! Featuring: Jess 🤩

Many of you might have met Jess in person at Cool Cat Collective, since she works there. But Jess does so much more than that!

The funny reels you see on Cool Cat Collective feed? Many of those are made by Jess!
Jess introduced us to our friends at Bamboo Club and she is the mind behind all of the events we held there! She also helped us with Kitten Showers at Cool Cat Collective and, together with Allison, she is a core member of our fundraising team. It’s been a pleasure working with Jess to raise money for our cause and to promote awareness about all things cat!

Thank you Jess for everything you do for the kitties! Looking forward to planning many more fun fundraisers together.
