Forgive the fact that its sideways 😩. But this was a great moment our kids got to hear from the state council members what their favorite and most impactful part of 4-H was!

Who knows that Vollemans milk recently had the 4-H Clover on their bottles? We do! Last week we had a wonderful opportunity to bring some of our youth to Vollemans for a tour alongside the State 4-H Council and so.e of our District 8 4-H council members. We had the best time touring the bottling facility and dairy, trying ALL the milk, lemonade, and ice cream flavors, learning a lot about the industry, petting calves, and racing to the top of the cottonseed hill! The kids also had some great conversations with the council members! Vollemans invited all of us there for a check presentation for the proceeds of the 4-H bottle to Texas State 4-H!

Cooper and Everett Hussey recently made their Heart of Texas heifer show debut in Waco. They attended the showmanship clinic, competed in the showmanship competition, and and then showed their hereford heifers in both the scholarship and premium shows. They got it done and walked away with a 4th place and two 5th place awards! Great job boys!
