Let's all do our part this month. If you are in a position to give, please come to one of our events this month to enjoy local live music and assist those most in need.

September is Hunger Action Month! 🧡

This year’s theme, “Play Your Part,” reminds us that every action matters. At NNEMAP Food Pantry, we see what becomes possible when neighbors show up for neighbors.

🧡 GIVE: A $10 donation can help NNEMAP purchase up to $45 worth of food.

🤝 VOLUNTEER: Share your time and help us welcome and serve Central Ohio neighbors.

📣 SHARE: Invite your friends, family and coworkers to join the movement.

Hunger Action Day is September 29, but you can make a difference all month long.

Donate or learn more at [www.wefeedcbus.org/donate](http://www.wefeedcbus.org/donate).

What a fantastic afternoon finally dropping off food and other much‑needed items to two of our partner pantries: Dublin Food Pantry and Neighborhood Services, Inc Food Pantry (NSI). I got to meet Karen Ernes in Dublin, and at NSI, Martin Butler and Marcia Ray — three people so passionate about their work that I’m convinced they run on equal parts caffeine and pure community spirit.

Massive shoutout to our Band Ambassadors, who keep proving that guitars, drums, and good hearts make a dangerous combo:

Strange Jane, Kismet Notes, and 270 Famous for rocking out on August 1 for Dublin Food Pantry

Band For A Day and Sonic Canvas for turning August 14 into a full‑blown groove fest for NSI

It’s a blessing having talented friends who will jump onstage to help fight food insecurity — and somehow still look cooler than I do doing it.

And of course, all roads lead to Eldorado's Food & Spirits, the unofficial headquarters of good vibes and community magic. Huge thanks to Nebbie, who kept the details straight while I tried not to lose track of my own shoes. Eldo’s staff shows up for local music like it’s a competitive sport — and they’re undefeated.

One last thing: Bring a canned soup to Eldorado’s this Saturday night to support GRIN. I might even be there blowing into a sax… which is either a treat or a threat, depending on how you feel about saxophones.

Great Music. Great Food. Great Cause.

💔 The world has lost an extraordinary singer, songwriter, actress, author, entertainer, and humanitarian in Dolly Parton.

Her remarkable career touched generations, but her legacy reaches far beyond the stage. Dolly used her success and her voice to give back, lift others, support communities, and make a difference.

At 614 Musicians United, we believe one of the greatest ways we can honor that legacy is to continue it.

Give when you can. Help where you can. Use your voice to lift others. ❤️

Dolly showed us that talent can create a career, but compassion creates a legacy.

Thank you for the music, the laughter, and the example, Dolly. ❤️
