Chapter 9 flew its first-ever Young Eagles Rally from a grass strip on Saturday, and it went beautifully. Packer Airport's nearly 3,500' runway was smooth, firm, and well drained, even after Friday's cold front dropped some rain. The sky was clear and bright, and there wasn't a wet patch to be found.
36 youth got to ride in a small airplane at this rally, bringing our 2026 total to 665 Young Eagles flown.
A big thank you to our volunteer pilots, including Noah Thompson, who flew his first Young Eagles flights with us, and James Andres, who brought his 1946 Piper Super Cruiser. Thanks also to everyone who made the trip out to Radnor to help!
