In Memory of Joshwa Christopher Holland: A Call for Work Zone Safety

Ohio LECET mourns the tragic loss of Joshwa Holland, a dedicated 27-year-old Laborers' Local 1410 member from Adams County, who lost his life in a work zone crash last Friday. Our hearts go out to his family, friends, and colleagues during this incredibly difficult time.

Joshwa's untimely passing is a heartbreaking reminder of the dangers faced by those who work tirelessly to maintain and improve our roads. It underscores the urgent need for heightened awareness and safety in work zones.

As we remember Joshwa and honor his commitment to his work, we call upon everyone to play their part in preventing such tragedies. When driving through work zones, please remain vigilant, reduce your speed, and eliminate distractions. Every moment of caution can make a difference and help ensure that workers like Joshwa return home safely to their loved ones.

We extend our deepest condolences to Joshwa’s family and the entire community affected by this loss. Let us come together to advocate for safer roads and honor Joshwa's memory by committing to greater responsibility and care in work zones. 🧡
