Columbus, we asked and you answered 💭

Community members all across central Ohio made time for connection and conversation. Thank you for taking your seat at our Big Table®.

We hope the conversations you had stay with you and that you’ve gotten closer to your community. Keep listening. Keep connecting. Keep the conversation going and leading with kindness.

For more ways to connect with your community, check the link in our bio for volunteer opportunities happening every day across Central Ohio.

Spots are still open at the table. 💚

On September 29, Central Ohio will come together for The Big Table®—a community-wide day of conversation powered by The Columbus Foundation and hosted by partners across our region.

We're proud to host a conversation at ShadowboxLive, where community members will gather to share ideas, listen to new perspectives, and explore what it takes to build a stronger Columbus.

Sometimes being the good means knowing when to reach out 💚

Today is 988 Day, a reminder that support is just a call or text away.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 to connect with the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. You don’t have to have the right words. You just have to reach out.

And for the rest of us? Check in. Listen. Stay curious. Be there for your community.

Because building a connected community means making sure people know they are never alone.

When storms swept through parts of Columbus, nearly 100 Team Rubicon volunteers traveled from across the country to help our neighbors recover.

Then another need emerged. The City of Columbus asked Besa a simple question: 𝘾𝙖𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢?

Restaurants donated meals. Ro’s Kitchen opened its doors. Community members donated snacks and water, prepared food, cleaned kitchens, and delivered dinners to the people serving our city.

One Team Rubicon leader summed it up best:
“𝐈𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐰, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐮𝐲𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠.”

She’s right.

Columbus, thank you for showing up. 💚
