This morning, 63 dads and kids joined Good Dads Strong Schools for a fun, hands-on activity focused on cooperation. Working together, they built marshmallow structures while learning that teamwork, communication, and working toward a common goal can make great things happen!

A special shout-out to all the wonderful volunteers who give their time and energy in support of these events. Your dedication makes a difference in the lives of children and families. 💙

And a big "THANK YOU" to the staff at Alpha Hart Lewis for helping us build stronger connections between dads and kids, one event at a time!

💙 Friendship was the focus at Blue Ridge Elementary this morning!

Good Dads Strong Schools kicked off its first successful event of the school year with more than 30 children and family members joining in the fun! Through Friendship Bingo, participants had the opportunity to meet new friends, learn what makes a good friend, and talk about the importance of friendship.

We love seeing families come together to learn, laugh, and build stronger connections! Thank you to Jim Hogan and Angela Pigg for being dedicated to making this event a success. We also want to thank Simmons Bank for supporting Good Dads Strong Schools at Blue Ridge Elementary this school year.

On October 13th, these dads completed the FORGE Fatherhood class in Columbia, taking another important step toward becoming the best fathers they can be. We look forward to celebrating their accomplishments at the Columbia Graduation Celebration on November 14th!

A special thank-you to facilitators Chad Huffman and Shane Winter and mentor Mondrell Caldwell for their time, dedication, and encouragement along the way.

We are proud of these dads and look forward to celebrating their success! 💙

Friday, October 1st, was another great morning with Good Dads Strong Schools at West Boulevard Elementary. When dads show up, kids know they matter! ❤️

This month’s theme is COOPERATION, and what better way to learn about working together than by building a tower out of marshmallows?

Dads and kids worked together, shared ideas, solved problems, and—hopefully—managed to keep their towers standing! 😊 More importantly, they had the opportunity to practice listening, encouraging one another, and discovering what can happen when we work together.

Special thanks to Isaac and Kate Cox who work hard to make every Good Dads Strong Schools event successful at West Boulevard Elementary. We are also grateful for the partnership with West Boulevard Elementary and excited to keep building stronger families and stronger schools—one dad at a time!

💙 Friendship was the theme at Good Dads Strong Schools this morning at Alpha Hart Lewis Elementary!

We had an amazing turnout with 88 dads and kids joining us for a fun morning of connection, conversation, and Find-a-Friend Bingo!

The kids shared their thoughts about:
👫 Why we need friends and what makes a good friend.

It was wonderful to see dads and kids talking, laughing, and learning together. These simple conversations help strengthen relationships and remind us how important it is for children to have involved, caring adults in their lives.

Good Dads Strong Schools — building stronger dads, stronger kids, and stronger schools, one connection at a time! 🙌

💙 Friendship, fun, and a great start to the school year! 💙

With the support of our sponsor, UMB Bank, Good Dads Strong Schools kicked off the new school year at West Boulevard Elementary on Friday, September 4th! Our lesson was all about friendship—what makes a good friend, why friendships are important, and how we can make new friends.

The kids put their friendship skills to work with a fun game of Find-a-Friend Bingo, getting to know one another while having lots of laughs along the way! 😊

We’re excited for another great year of learning, growing, and building strong relationships—one friend at a time! 💙

We’re proud to celebrate a big milestone for Good Dads! On May 1st, we had our largest graduating class yet—nine men committed to becoming stronger, more engaged fathers. Each of these dads made a commitment to learn, grow, and lead their families with intention. Congratulations to each of you—we’re honored to walk alongside you.

Strong Schools wrapped up the year at West Boulevard Elementary School May 1st in a meaningful way. 💙

Dads and kids spent time asking questions and learning more about each other, then got creative by coloring keys and sharing what the “keys to kindness” look like in their lives.

A great reminder that strong relationships and simple acts of kindness make a lasting difference!

Eight men in the New Pathways for Good Dads program at Love Columbia officially completed the Good Dads 2.0 class—and what an accomplishment it is! Their dedication, hard work, and commitment to becoming stronger fathers is something worth celebrating.

They showed up, put in the effort, and took meaningful steps toward building healthier relationships and brighter futures for their families. That’s something to be proud of!
