🎉 THE ANNIVERSARY LOVE KEEPS COMING! 💖

Y’all have been showing OUT for our 11th anniversary! 🥹

Over the last couple of days, more community donors have stopped by with hundreds of diapers and other essentials, and our friends at Cooper Library also collected donations to help support the families we serve!

Diapers, youth incontinence products, period products and other much-needed items — it ALL helps. 💖

And every diaper donated gets us another step closer to our 11,000 Diaper Challenge in celebration of 11 years of Power In Changing! 🥳

What we love most about these pictures isn’t just the amount of product 💖it’s seeing our community show up for one another. For 11 years, you’ve trusted us to take what you give and get it into the hands of families who need it. We don’t take that support for granted.

A HUGE thank you to Newcomers of Greater Columbia of Greater Columbia for collecting and donating 613 diapers to help celebrate Power In Changing’s 11th anniversary and our 11,000 Diaper Challenge! 🥳
Every box, every pack and every diaper helps us continue providing consistent support to families throughout our community 💖and we are incredibly grateful for everyone helping us get closer to that 11,000 goal.

And just a little reminder… 😉 you don’t have to go shopping to participate! We happily accept monetary donations too. 🎉💵 Your gift helps us purchase the sizes we need most and supports the work it takes to get these essentials into the hands of families.💖

💖 Do Good in Action!

A BIG thank you to our friends from Emmaus Church for spending part of their Do Good volunteer day with Power In Changing!

This small but mighty crew💖including a family returning to volunteer with us again this year💕got A LOT accomplished! 🙌🏾 They wrapped diapers, sorted baby clothing, helped us transition our clothing inventory from spring/summer to fall/winter, and got a firsthand look at the work that happens behind the scenes to keep families supplied throughout the year.

We’re so grateful for the helping hands, great conversations, and families choosing to serve together. 💖

💖 MT. HEBRON SHOWED UP AGAIN! 💖

We are incredibly grateful to our friends at Mt. Hebron Methodist Church in West Columbia! After volunteering with us in celebration of their 225th anniversary, they kept the giving going! 🥳

This week, we picked up another 1,271 diapers & Pull-Ups for our Lexington Hub 😳PLUS 34 packs of wipes and sanitary pads! 🤯💖

And those 1,271 diapering items are going straight toward our 11,000-diaper goal as Power In Changing celebrates 11 years of serving families! 🎉💖

This is what community looks like. These aren’t just boxes filling a vehicle 🚗 they’re supplies that will soon be in the hands of local families who need them.

225 years of service helping us celebrate 11 years of ours. 🥹💖

ATTN SNAP RECIPIENTS: The South Carolina Department of Social Services (SCDSS) has received a notice from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) requesting that the Healthy Food SC demonstration project for households receiving SNAP benefits in South Carolina, which SCDSS was prepared to begin on August 31, 2026, be postponed with a new implementation date of November 1, 2026.
