What a brave kid!! Our first ever Hero Award was a perfect fit for Phillip, who rescued his 4 year-old brother from a house fire. Looking forward to seeing him at Camp ‘Can’ Do this July!!

🎖️Student Hero Spotlight 🎖️
In a ceremony today at Johnsonville Middle School, 6th grade student, Phillip Robinson was awarded the Hero Award from the South Carolina Burned Children's Fund.

We are proud of Phillip for his heroic efforts and bravery during a home fire.

Meet Jordon. Camp 'Can' Do has been a huge part of his life. He's now returning to camp as a Junior Counselor as he has turned 18 and now wants to help young burn survivors enjoy camp.

🍀 Join Us for Our Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration & Fundraiser! 🍀

The City of Goose Creek Fire Department is proud to invite the community to our annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration and fundraiser on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Stone’s Throw Brewery.

🚒 Parade Details
🕛 Starts at Noon
📍 Route: Beginning at Central Avenue & Etiwan Drive, proceeding down Etiwan Drive, and ending at Stone’s Throw Brewery at 101 Button Hall Ave.

🍻 Celebration at the Brewery
The celebration will begin immediately following the parade—and a portion of drink sales will benefit the South Carolina Firefighters Burned Children’s Fund.

🎽 Fundraiser T-Shirts
Pre-sale t-shirt orders are available now, but pre-sales end February 28. All supporters will be notified via text or email when the shirts arrive and are ready for pick up. Pick ups can be made at our Button Hall Station 201 Button Hall Ave. or the day of the event at Stones Throw Brewery.
