Two weeks later, and we’re still thinking about it! 🍂 Huge thanks to our friends at MBCollegiate for hosting the 2026 Statewide Fall Retreat, and to every student who came along. Worship, honest conversations, and new friendships made it such a special weekend, and God was clearly at work. Here are some photos from the weekend, taken by our friends at MBCollegiate. Take a look and relive the moments! 📸

We're excited to introduce you to the people behind Collegiate Impact! Over the next couple of months, we'll be featuring our staff with a bit about who they are and some fun facts. Starting us off is Joey:

"My name is Joey Moralez. I have been on staff with Collegiate Impact for almost 2 years. I am originally from Los Angeles. I was saved by Jesus during my college years. This inspired me to work in college ministry. I love to travel and enjoy trying out local coffee shops everywhere I travel to, serving my local church, and watching soccer. I am honored to work for Collegiate Impact!"

We love having Joey on staff! He brings a lot of enthusiasm to our team!

To learn more about Joey, comment "Joey" to get a link to his bio on our website!

College student: live near the Truman Sports Complex or around Independence? Our partner church, LifeConnection Church, hosts Pursuit, a young adult night every Tuesday, and you're invited!

Pursuit is a weekly gathering where college students and young adults in their 20s pursue Jesus together through worship, God’s Word, prayer, and authentic community. Their desire is to see young adults grow in their love for Christ, be transformed by His Word, and faithfully make Him known in every area of life.

They welcome anyone between the ages of 18 and 29. Whether you’re a mature follower of Jesus, new to the Christian faith, or simply curious about who Jesus is, there’s a place for you at Pursuit! Any questions? Please send us a DM, and we can connect you with someone from LifeConnection Church!
