🌈 WOW, what a weekend! 🌈
We had an amazing time at this weekend, connecting with so many of you and spreading the word about what we do at CSF! 💛
💬 “Hi! We're CoMo Street Frenz! We help the unhoused population of Columbia by offering food, medical care, and legal assistance to those in need.”
That was our opening line for a few hundred people, and let me tell you—it felt so good to share how we make a difference.
✨ Here’s a quick recap for those who couldn’t stop by our booth:
• We give out good food to our unhoused frenz. GOOD food 🥖
• We provide medical care like wound cleaning, checking blood pressure and other vitals, helping frenz break fevers with Tylenol and more all under Missouri’s strong Good Samaritan laws. 💉 We don’t diagnose or prescribe, but we make sure they get connected with MU, Compass Health & Burrell Health when needed.
• We offer legal help too, making sure our frenz get important documents like birth certificates and IDs replaced if they’ve been lost or stolen. 📄
• Sometimes, though, it’s as simple as a conversation. 💬 A “Hey, how’s your day?” or “Would you like a cigarette?” often opens up some of the most interesting and life-changing conversations we have all month.

Our Pride booth was packed all weekend, and it was a HUGE success! 🚀 Thank you to everyone who stopped by, grabbed some Narcan, candy, drug testing kits, or donated to our mission.
Thank you to the incredible organizations we collaborate with. We are new to the scene and we appreciate learning from our sister organizations that are already teaching us invaluable lessons and providing insightful knowledge.
Okay, now it’s time for my second (BIG) mug of coffee because... coffee always tastes better in a ceramic mug, right? ☕️✨
