The Business, Entrepreneurship & Tax Law Review was proud to celebrate the accomplishments of several outstanding members at the Edna Nelson Banquet, hosted by the University of Missouri School of Law. Our Editor-in-Chief, Sophia Marcolla, had the honor of presenting the following awards:

Best Student Submission – Garret Macko, for his article “Juris Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Machines,” which explores the future of legal practice in the age of artificial intelligence.

Outstanding Executive Board Contribution – Mariana Larson, in recognition of her tireless leadership, mentorship, and dedication to supporting our members and upholding the journal’s high standards. Mariana is extra special to our board as she won the Outstanding Associate Member Contribution award in the previous year.

Outstanding Associate Member Contribution – Brynna Smith, for her consistent excellence, enthusiastic involvement, and achievement in earning publication this semester.

Congratulations to all, and thank you for making this year at BETR one to remember.
