COPIED FROM A FRIEND: WHAT A TESTIMONY!

Here’s you a little mountain church somewhere in North Carolina that made one request (that was granted): a generator. That’s all, a generator. And as requested one was air lifted to them.

They wanted to make sure they could assemble and have church today.

Folks, faith is real.
God is our source.
Jesus is our Savior.
The Holy Spirit is our sustenance.
The church is our safe place.

And any attempt to do life without Him and His people, especially in the trials, is just not optional.

A desire to be with Him and with His people! The world cannot shake it. Circumstances cannot break it it. And not even floods can take it.

So, this morning, a small group of believers in the mountains of North Carolina, who have faced the unthinkable and lost more than we could ever imagine, will assemble in what appears to be a three walled building with little to no earthly possessions and still choose to worship the One they love and adore. Flood or mud. Nothing can take it from them.

They have a generator! But let me tell, I have a feeling that’s not the only power source that will be present at that little 11am Sunday service (per the make shift sign) tomorrow! I pray the Spirit of the Holy One comes down and they have church like they’ve never had it before.

Here’s your friendly reminder that it’s not just that the church needs you, but you WILL have certain seasons in life that you WILL need the church. This pastor knows this.

Church. A reminder of our hope and a refuge for our healing.

Update: Byron and Renee (Foxx) have seen God at work in their lives this week; Renee is continuing small steps of progress. She will probably be moved to a rehab center today or tomorrow. She is still very ill but she and Byron are rejoicing in the Lord's goodness, grace, comfort, and opportunities to share Him with others.

Many have asked about helping financially. As you know, Byron has cancelled all of his Evangelistic meetings right now - he is where he needs to be - with Renee! Therefore, his primary source of income has stopped. It is my understanding that some friends are setting up a Go Fund Me to help - we do not have any details about the fund yet.

However, anyone can give online through www.GodandCountry.me or www.ByronFoxx.com - both of these sites have donate buttons. Some Pastors and Churches have sent love offerings already.

Let's pray about how the Lord would have us to help our dear Brother and Sister who have been such faithful servants of the Lord and have been an incredible blessing to many of us!

Look at the list of articles! Plus look at the list of State Distribution Captains! Printed magazines are scheduled to begin arriving in state warehouses on September 9.

Please continue to pray for this enormous effort to "raise the level of righteousness" in our beloved country.

47 DAYS

On Tuesday, June 25, 2024 (47 days ago) I was in Florida preaching at an event for Faith Wins.

The previous day, my good friend Kevan Bartlett challenged me to consider publishing a Special Edition of the GOD BLESS AMERICA Magazine. I was a little overwhelmed with the thought. Do you know how much work it takes to produce a quality 16-page full-color magazine, with content-rich articles relevant to today?

Then Pastor Bartlett did something. He asked me to pray about it.

That night I prepared my sermon for the next day, from Joshua 3. The title of the sermon was TAKE YOUR NEXT STEP. And I prayed and thought about the need for this magazine.

As I preached the sermon on Tuesday morning from the glorious word of God, I came under conviction. I knew I needed to take "my next step" and publish the magazine! I told the Lord I would try.

Chad Connelly was naturally at the event, but also Thomas B Alvis Jr. and Gordon Dickson were at that Florida Summit.

I called Kevan Bartlett telling him that I would indeed attempt to publish the Special Edition Magazine and that I need him to help.

Then I went directly to Bro Chad, Bro Tom, and Bro Gordon and asked for their help. All three men immediately pledged their help!

From that point, our "Magazine team" has worked earnestly. Plus God raised up a multitude of wonderful friends, and all have become engaged!

It is astounding to see what God has done so far!

We plan to print 100,000 copies, and then produce the digital version. We are also working on 1 or 2 other possible companion products.

This is a sudden $90,000 project. Normally I would have planned a year in advance and would have escrowed the needed funds.

BUT GOD and His beloved people have stepped in the gap! So far about $53,000 has been promised. No doubt the remaining $37,000 need will be met.

Next week is critical. We need our final proof by Wednesday, and our printing proof by Friday.

GOD WILLING - Printed magazines should be in state warehouses about September 9, and distribution will begin the next day!
