☔️ The RAIN didn’t interfere with “National Night Out” hosted by Squadron 284 at American Legion Post 284…
🌭 Food, Commradarie, and plenty of laughs were enjoyed by neighbors, post members, and City Officials.

🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸HAPPY 4th of JULY 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Today, members of the Colonial Heights, VA ~ American Legion Post 284 celebrated our 250th anniversary of being the Greatest Nation on Earth!

As we celebrated amongst members and their families, we are reminded that our freedoms are due to the many sacrifices made by our deceased, retired, and currently enlisted military personnel! ❤️

This event would not have been possible without the many volunteers that contributed their time in planning, executing, and carrying out the logistics of this event. While there are many to whom we would like to extend a thank you, collectively we must thank the Sons of Squadron 284 who cooked hamburgers and hotdogs to perfection in the sweltering heat! 🌭🍔

Auxiliary members, Legionnaires, and Sons helped set up, serve, and, everyone's favorite, clean up! 🧹🧽

It was a great day celebrating our Independence! ❤️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸❤️
