MediCradle

MediCradle Developing and distributing high quality, low cost, durable infant incubators to developing countries. See www.medicradle.org Thanks!

The MediCradle has been designed to address basic needs of infants in challenging environments. The MediCradle Foundation is a non-profit group of volunteers - 70 doctors, surgeons, attorneys, engineers, nurses, web designers and others who are all working for free in order to design, manufacture and distribute sturdy, low-cost infant incubators (the “MediCradle”) around the world, where over a mi

llion premature infants die each year in the first few days of life because they cannot be kept warm. None of us involved in this project will ever receive a penny for our work, so that each MediCradle distributed can be as low as possible (currently about 1/10 the cost of a normal incubator). We are distributing the MediCradle incubators for less than it costs us to produce them. The MediCradle itself is designed specifically for developing countries, is incredibly sturdy, easy to operate and repair, and has numerous features (air filter, bilil umen light, can operate off any power source (AC or DC battery or solar power).
