4-H Camp Registration Update-

There are 3 boy camper spaces remaining. There are many girl camper spaces available.

Come by the office to get registered! Registration will close on May 29.

The Colonial Beach Community Foundation is proud to announce the 2026 Colonial Beach High School Scholarship Recipients!

We awarded (6) $1,000 scholarships, one to each of the following students: Olivia Cooke, Noah Foster, Micah Gray, Carlyn Middleton, Zachary Papanicolas, and Jack Verhalen. Thank you to our generous donors.

These students demonstrated academic achievement and strong commitment to community service. During our interviews we enjoyed speaking to all the students and learning about their future goals. CBHS can be very proud of all the applicants.

Thank you to Mrs. Campbell for preparing the students for the scholarship process and making the Scholarship Banquet a memorable event. We are also honored to learn about a new Scholarship Sponsor Plaque that will displayed in the new entry way.

Summer camp just got more accessible for local families.

Early Bird registration for 4-H Summer Camp is now open, and the Foundation is helping cover camp fees for children in the 22443 zip code.

If you know a child who would love the camp experience, now is the time to register and take advantage of this support.

A few years ago the Colonial Beach Foundation awarded a grant to the Virginia Osprey Foundation, INC for a nest camera.

The camera was installed a few months ago near the nest at the CB Volunteer Fire Department.

This is the second year with our Osprey nest cam, David returned but sadly, Betty did not. We now have a new female in the nest, Lily, a beautiful Osprey. Her first egg was laid on May 8, 2025.
