The Branch County Childcare Coalition convened its monthly meeting today, commemorating the city of Coldwater, Michigan and Branch County's proclamation of Child Care Provider Appreciation Day on May 8, 2026. We are thankful to reside in a community that acknowledges and values the contributions of Child Care Providers. Starting Friday, May 22, BCCF will be closed on Fridays for the summer. Our office will be open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and we’ll be back to regular hours on Monday, September 14, 2026.

We are beyond thrilled to announce that the wait is finally over - the 2026 BCCF Scholarship awards have been officially announced! We are incredibly proud of our scholarship program, which has been empowering students to pursue their academic dreams for years. This year, we are awarding a total of over $80,000 in scholarships to deserving students, with an impressive 18% of recipients already taking the next step and enrolling in higher education. We are honored to play a role in shaping the future of these talented individuals and can't wait to see the incredible things they will achieve. Read more on our blog:

Happy National Provider Appreciation Day! The Branch County Childcare Coalition is celebrating our local providers who make a difference for our community every day. All licensed providers were sent a hand written and heartfelt thank you and a small token of appreciation generously donated by Maynard Family McDonald's. We are grateful for all of our providers and businesses who believe in celebrating them as much as we do!

Today, the Branch County Childcare Coalition (BC3) is sparking connections and igniting progress at the Statewide gathering of Regional Childcare Coalitions, proudly representing Michigan's Region 8! This powerful event, hosted by the Early Childhood Investment Corporation (ECIC), unites all 10 regions across the State to share innovative ideas, best practices, and collaborative solutions. A huge thank you to our Coalition Lead, Mallory, and dedicated Coalition Member, Robert, for championing Branch County's voice and vision!

Help share this great resource for those affected by the Union City Tornado! SBA representatives will be stationed at the Union City Branch District Library through May14th. The schedule is Monday 1pm -5pm, Tuesday - Friday 9am -5pm, and Saturday from 9am -1pm.
