Yesterday we held our first ever softball tournament for the Dobbs Memorial Foundation with Shannon Schofield Dobbs We had 4 amazing teams show up to play some amazing softball. Everything ran so smoothly in large part to my kids who again showed up and helped. A huge thank you to Dacoda Dobbs Princess Lyz Kaori (AaronWhite) Dalton Dobbs Dyllan Dobbs and Kaylie Weller for being there and helping. I would also love to thank our amazing sponsors, Belson Asphalt and Memories on the Hill. You have been there from the start and have supported the kids every step of the way and for that I am eternally grateful.

This Sunday we will be holding our 1st ever Derreck's Diamond War girls softball tournament. We are set to host 9 teams of 14U and 16U girls on Coldwater at Heritage Park. Games will begin at 9 a.m. There will be 2 food trucks there as well. We will even be holding a 50/50 drawing. So come on out on Sunday, we will be playing unless there is thunder or lightening, and enjoy a day of some amazing young woman playing a game they love and help support a cause they wants to help more young athletes play a game they love

We celebrated Derreck and Dalton's (his twin) birthday today. Would have been his 33rd. The day was spent remembering what an amazing young man he was and discussing ways we can continue his "love hard" legacy.

We are looking for sponsors for our softball tournament in Coldwater on Sept 20th. A $500 sponsorship will get a banner with your logo on the fence of softball field as well as advertisement on t-shirts worn by grounds crew and your name and logo posted various places around the fields. Please let me know if you are interested. All proceeds go toward youth in sports.
