Watch each station run and look for sprinkler heads that need adjusted. Have you ever thought about joining 4-H? There's no better time to get started!

4-H helps young people build confidence, explore new interests, develop leadership skills, and make friends along the way. You don't have to know what project you want to do before you join. There's a whole community ready to help you get started! 💚

For Thankful Thursday, we're celebrating the volunteers, club leaders, project leaders, businesses, parents, grandparents, and supporters who give their time, share their talents, and encourage our members to be the BEST.

Your support makes it possible for young people to try new things, learn from mistakes, build confidence, and achieve things they never thought possible. Thomas County 4-H is better because of YOU!

In 4-H, the real growth goes far beyond the project.

One Thomas County 4-H parent says, "4-H is the avenue through which we teach our kids to do hard things, believe in themselves, and serve the community with purpose. Whether it is giving a talk to a group of people or learning to bake bread, 4-H is the vehicle that has helped our family both grow in confidence and develop life long skills."

Every demonstration builds communication skills. Every club meeting creates opportunities for leadership. Every new challenge builds confidence. And every service project reminds members of the difference they can make in their communities.

These are skills that last a lifetime, and we're proud to see Thomas County 4-H members growing into tomorrow's leaders!

From photography, woodworking, and sewing to STEM, cooking, public speaking, gardening, and animal science, 4-H gives youth opportunities to explore interests, learn new skills, and discover what they love!

Happy 4-H Week from Thomas County 4-H! 💚

4-H is so much more than projects and the county fair! It's a place where young people discover their passions, build confidence, develop leadership skills, and make lifelong memories. Today, 4-H members are wearing green to show their pride!

This week, we're celebrating our incredible members, dedicated volunteers, supportive families, and the community that makes 4-H possible. 4-H enrollment for the new year is open now for youth ages 7-18!

Ready to join 4-H for the 2026–2027 year?

Whether you’re brand new to 4-H or returning for another year, we’d love to have you be part of Thomas County 4-H! 💚

4-H is a place for youth to learn by doing, make friends, try new things, build confidence, and discover what they’re passionate about. With projects ranging from livestock and horses to photography, foods, sewing, STEM, shooting sports, public speaking, and so much more, there’s a place for everyone!

Enrollment for the new 4-H year is now open!

How to join:

- Choose a 4-H club that works for your family.
- Create or renew your 4-H Online account.
- Enroll in Thomas County 4-H and select your club and projects.
- Start your 4-H adventure!

From exhibits and animals to talks, demonstrations, and everything in between, Thomas County 4-H members showed up ready to learn, compete, and represent their county!

The State Fair is about more than ribbons and results. It’s about the hours of work that happen long before the fairgrounds, the new skills gained along the way, the confidence built by trying something new, and the memories made with friends and family.

We’re so proud of every Thomas County 4-H member who participated at the Kansas State Fair this year. Thank you for representing Thomas County and showing what 4-H is all about!
