Celebrate the arts over Father’s Day Weekend. South Shore Art Center presents its 71st Annual Arts Festival on Cohasset Common. Contemporary creativity meets New England tradition with 80 craft artists, a marquee tent filled with fine art, food, live music, tons of maker activities and face painting at the kid’s tent. Don’t miss the Stellwagon Beer Tent located near the sound stage featuring crowd-pleasers like the Pitfalls and Traveller: The Chris Stapleton Experience. Lobster rolls and homemade strawberry shortcakes sold by church groups are all part of the tradition … as is free golf cart shuttles for visitors from satellite parking to the Common. There’s a $5.00 suggested donation at the entrance.
