**Saturday Sept 12, Minot's Light Roundabout* coastal rowing race around Minot's Light that starts/finishes at Sandy Beach, Cohasset. Many hands make light work so we are looking for volunteers to help us push/carry a few large row boats from the parking lot to the water and then back to the parking lot at the end of the race. Two shifts: 1st 7:30am-9am and 2nd 11:30am-1pm. Beautiful setting, nice people, and fun atmosphere with a DJ and food for volunteers. South Shore Youth Volunteers. Sign up using the below link. Rowing fees cover CMI’s everyday operations—but they don’t fully cover major boat restorations, new sliding-seat rails ($600/per set x4), marine paint ($300 x 2 coats), oar repairs, fiberglass, epoxy, and hardware.
