Thank you Kootenai Electric Cooperative for believing in our mission! We are so grateful for your support!

The Kootenai Electric Trust recently awarded $2,500 to Growing the STEM to expand their afterschool programs for low-income students. Read more about this Growing the STEM grant in our most recent grant spotlight at www.kec.com/recently-awarded-grants.

Community grants, like this one, are funded through the Operation Round Up® program. Operation Round Up® is supported by KEC members who voluntarily “round up” their monthly electric bills to the nearest dollar to help our neighbors in need. The extra pennies go into the Kootenai Electric Trust fund which distributes grants to worthy causes in our community. Member participation in Operation Round Up® is strictly voluntary. Learn more about Operation Round Up® at www.kec.com/operation-round-up.
