Mission

Sikh Family Center promotes community health and well-being with a special focus on gender justice. We provide trauma-centered interventions for victim-survivors of violence while working to change the social and cultural conditions that allow gendered violence to occur in the first place. Our training, outreach, and advocacy are grounded in cultural tradition, g

In all its activities, Sikh Family Center relies heavily on appropriate partnerships as well as its core group of volunteers. Are you looking for a warm, inclusive space that will help your young daughter build confidence and find her voice this summer?

Sikh Family Center is thrilled to announce our , A Young Kaurs’ Leadership Program! This 3-week, online summer series is a joyful, highly interactive space where girls get to play, draw, debate, and learn what it means to lead "like a girl"—all rooted in Sikh values and community pride.

Spots are limited to 8 girls to keep the space engaging.

At Sikh Camps and Retreats, we seek to model the best of Sikh culture. Safety is part of walking the Sikh talk.

Preparation (to be Tyaar), not Panic, is a key to a safe, fun, and inspiring Sikh camp!

Almost every U.S. teen lives some part of their life online and nearly half are on screens constantly. These 5 facts show why having conversations with teens about digital safety is important to supporting teens understand how to build safe and appropriate digital lives.

Sikh Family Center has seen cases where youth affected by dating violence have experienced nonconsensual sharing of intimate images or received threats that their intimate images will be shared with their family, the broader community, or both. We recognize that sharing digital content without consent can leave individuals and families feeling isolated and without options. Support and safety resources are available, including resources specifically for teens.
