**MISSION MONDAY | COMPASS CHECK**

**STEP 5: STAY WITH THEM**

You checked in. You asked again. You listened.

And when someone finally tells you they’re not okay, what happens next matters.

Stay.

Sit with them. Make the call with them. Help them reach someone they trust. Drive them somewhere if they need you to. Whatever that next step looks like, remind them they don’t have to take it alone.

You don’t need to have all the answers. You don’t need to know how to fix what they’re going through.

Sometimes what matters most is knowing someone is willing to stay beside you while you figure out what comes next.

**“We’ll figure this out together. I’m not going anywhere.”**

And if you believe someone may be in immediate danger, take it seriously and get help. Don’t leave them alone.

Checking in is important.

**Staying when it matters is, too.**

Check on your people. Then check again.
