We are so excited to have Zack Potts interning with NCC this summer! A recent graduate of Clinton Community High School, Zack will be spending time at all 3 of our network locations getting a behind the scenes peek into doing ministry right where you live. He will be with us until September and then has plans to join a ministry organization that will help him learn how to share the Good News in other parts of the world!

At NCC, we are constantly asking ourselves how we can make the experience of anyone who walks through our doors a great one. This usually requires us living out one of our values: Stumble Forward. We love experimenting and exploring new possibilities!

We purchased our McLean Co. Network property almost 3yrs ago. We created a layout for Neighborhood Market that made sense but recently we started asking ourselves: Could it be better? Last month, we had a contractor come in to create an opening in a wall that completely changed the layout to allow more space to serve Neighbors! Yesterday was our first day using the new layout and we loved the feedback we got! Be sure to come check it out!

Between all our partnerships across DeWitt County, Maroa, IL, and rural Mclean County, as well as Midwest Food Bank, we stewarded roughly $2.2 million of non-monetary donations that were leveraged for greater purposes and impact by our Mission Partners. God is opening a new door at NCC!

As you may have already heard, Neighborhood Care Center will be opening its 3rd network location in Vermilion County! There are so many cool details that God has paved the way for that we can’t wait to share with you in the coming months!

The Vermilion Co. Network will be located in Danville, IL and is set to open in 2027. Be on the lookout for more information in the coming months on how you can join us in what God is doing in Vermilion Co.!

“I am blessed to be able to be a part of NCC. There is a great support system here and I am truly inspired by what all is done here to meet unmet needs not only physically but spiritually and emotionally. It gives us the opportunity to connect with others and put their needs above our own and to come together for a common goal.”

When it comes to meeting needs, we often remind ourselves that the services we offer are just a tool to connect relationally to our Neighbors. Relational connection is at the heart of why NCC exists. We need relationships to know how we can support and inspire each other!

Our teams are busy getting our network locations ready to serve our Neighbors this week!

Did you know that last NCC stewarded over 2 million dollars worth of non-monetary donations? These donations come from local partnerships and you, our community members. Every food item donated allows us the opportunity to create a relational connection in the hopes of supporting and inspiring our communities for more!
