🦃 Help us share a little peace this Thanksgiving!

Each year, across our Network locations, we deliver over 140 Thanksgiving baskets to our Neighbors!

While Thanksgiving is a time of celebration for many, we know it can also bring stress and challenges for others. Our hope is that these baskets do more than provide a holiday meal. We hope they offer a little peace, encouragement, and a reminder that our Neighbors are not alone.

And we need YOU to help make that happen!

Join us as we prepare and deliver Thanksgiving baskets to Neighbors in our communities. Your willingness to give a little of your time can make a meaningful difference for someone this holiday season.

Live in Vermilion Co. and need a winter coat? We’d love to help.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, Neighborhood Care Center’s Vermilion Co. Network will be giving away new adult winter coats to Neighbors who need one.

📅 Thursday, October 22
⏰ 2:00–4:00 PM, or until coats run out
📍 Neighborhood Care Center
 2 East Main Street, Danville

A few things to know:
• Coats are available for adults only
• You must be present to receive a coat
• If your child needs a coat, we can connect you with Fair Hope Children’s Ministry for a referral

There is no cost—just come by and let us help you get ready for the colder months ahead.

What a blessing to see our communities come together for our Stuff Our Shelves events at both our DeWitt County and McLean County Networks!

Because of your generosity, our shelves are being filled with more than just food and essential items. Each donation helps us continue creating opportunities to connect with our Neighbors, build relationships, and provide support when it's needed most.

To everyone who donated, helped spread the word, or played a part in making these events possible—THANK YOU!

Let’s Share the Warmth Together, Vermilion County!

Help us make sure our Vermilion Co. Neighbors are ready for the colder months ahead! We’re partnering with our local Culver’s locations to collect NEW adult coats for neighbors in our community.

📍 Drop off new adult coats at:
• Tilton Culver’s
• Danville Culver’s
📅 Now through Wednesday, October 21

Please note that we are collecting new adult coats only.

Every coat is more than warmth—it’s a simple way to care for a Neighbor and remind them they’re not alone.

What does a visit to Neighborhood Market actually look like—and how much can it really help?

This video gives you a glimpse. ❤️

When we compared the cost of the groceries shown here to what they would cost at the store, it totaled more than $300 worth of food—all provided at no cost to our Neighbor.

For a family trying to make ends meet, that kind of support can make a real difference.

But Neighborhood Market is about more than groceries.
It’s about creating a place where neighbors can find the support they need while connecting with people who live in their community and genuinely care about them.
Food may be what brings someone through the door, but relationship is at the heart of what we do.

Our Vermilion County Network is on the starting ground of something new. Mission Partners from Dewitt and McLean came to bless them, encourage them, and pray over the journey ahead this past weekend.

They know what it’s like to step onto the starting ground, and now they’re helping support and inspire the mission partners who will be the hands and feet when NCC Vermilion Co. opens in January.

We also filled the walls with expectant prayers—asking God to continue moving in Vermilion and to do even more when the doors open.

One of our values around NCC is that we believe in the disciple, not the program. We don’t believe that the services we offer at NCC are what will support and inspire someone. It’s the people who serve within those services that are willing to step into someone else’s life and walk alongside them that truly make the difference!

Last week was Mission Partner Appreciation at all of our network locations! Special lunches and a lemonade shake up stand made for a super fun week.

It’s our Mission Partners that truly make what we do week in and week out a possibility. We say our greatest asset in our network communities are the community members themselves! Relationships are how we are able to support and inspire. A huge thank you to all our Mission Partners for making NCC possible!
