Free Fishing Derby Saturday, June 20th. Registration starts at 8:30am, fishing from 9 to 11. Trophies for the 3 age groups 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. First place will also receive a fishing poles. All kids who enter will recieve a prize.

Social time begins @ 5:30 at the Union Schoolhouse with a video featuring Dave Herzog and Carol Thompson. Bring an easy supper to eat during this time and there will be snacks!

PLEASE USE TRAILS WITH CAUTION!!

The Lake Trail has quite a bit of damage from the storms of last week. There are also DNR workers cutting and removing invasive woody bushes which also makes it in some places difficult to get around.

This was brought to our attention by WSF member, Sarah, who is an avid hiker. Thank you Sarah! Pictures below.

The Weldon Springs State Park staff will be busy clearing the fallen trees and debris so please be patient - there only 2 full time staff workers. If you see them - please thank them - as this will be ongoing difficult work.
