PVCYM Youth Center - Clinton, IN PVCYM Youth Center is a place that you can come to, to hang out, get a snack, meet friends, play games & just relax.

Here is an explanation of how our hours work: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday night's hours are designated for the 6th-12th grade group. Saturday nights are open to the family as a whole (please nobody under 12 without an adult!) We'd love to see families come in and enjoy the time together! *Also, if any 5th grade students would like to come in and " try it out" they can do that on Saturday nights

, as long as they are at least on the fifth grade level and mature enough to abide by the rules they can come in without parents on Saturday nights only. This gives them the chance to get to know the place and us before next year when they could be spending a lot more time here. We are a 501c3 non-profit & non-denominational group who wants to share the love of God with ALL youth! We are not here to force our beliefs on you, only show God's love by being there for you! We can't do this alone but need the community to help out - We truly believe in the concept that if a lot of people will give just a little, great things can be accomplished!!!

CHOOSE TO KEEP HOPING

Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him.

PSALM 42:5

Have you experienced yet another setback? Has some problem arisen that makes your situation seem hopeless? Understand that God allows disappointments to occur so that you'll learn to rely on Him more fully-so you'll walk by faith and not by sight. But never forget this: while disappointments are inevitable, being discouraged is a choice.

You can choose to have hope and joy-you can make a decision to embrace the abundant life God has for you. And you do so by living by one simple rule: circumstances do not control you; Jesus does. You can choose to look to God and trust Him regardless of how your situation looks. And as you do, the scars of old disappointments melt away through His reviving, restoring love.

The Father has many blessings for you to enjoy-blessings you cannot even begin to imagine. So let go of your disappointments and fears. God holds your future in His hands, and you will never lose by keeping focused on Him. So trust Him with all your heart.

Jesus, I choose not to be discouraged. Thank You for a good future and for showing me who You are. Amen.

My hope is in Jesus because He has good things in store for me.

RESTLESSNESS

Give ear to my prayer, O God; and do not hide Yourself from my supplication. Give heed to me and answer me; I am restless in my complaint and am surely distracted.

PSALM 55:1-2

It's the feeling of internal irritation. Something is wrong, but you just can't put your finger on what it is or why it's bothering you. Nothing you do can rid you of the uneasiness in your heart.

Understand that one of the simplest ways God gets your attention is to make you restless. Just as the blast of a warning siren can make you stop in your tracks and take cover, a spirit of unease is God's way of prompting you to seek Him so that He can ready you for what is ahead.

So when that happens, the wisest thing to do is to stop and ask the Lord what He is trying to say to you. Ask, "Father, what are You communicating to me? What is it about Your will that I'm missing?" Do not distract yourself or try to soothe the irritation with anything other than His presence-it won't work. Just continue to seek Him until He shows you what to do and restores peace within you.

Jesus, I don't know why I feel so restless, but I will seek You as long as it takes for You to show me Your will. Amen.

My hope is in Jesus because He knows how to get my attention.
