PVCYM Youth Center - Clinton, IN PVCYM Youth Center is a place that you can come to, to hang out, get a snack, meet friends, play games & just relax.

Here is an explanation of how our hours work: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday night's hours are designated for the 6th-12th grade group. Saturday nights are open to the family as a whole (please nobody under 12 without an adult!) We'd love to see families come in and enjoy the time together! *Also, if any 5th grade students would like to come in and " try it out" they can do that on Saturday nights, as long as they are at least on the fifth grade level and mature enough to abide by the rules they can come in without parents on Saturday nights only. This gives them the chance to get to know the place and us before next year when they could be spending a lot more time here. We are a 501c3 non-profit & non-denominational group who wants to share the love of God with ALL youth! We are not here to force our beliefs on you, only show God's love by being there for you! Like this page and choose the "See First" option to get notifications about events for you in your area! We can't do this alone but need the community to help out - We truly believe in the concept that if a lot of people will give just a little, great things can be accomplished!!!

LEARN WHO YOU ARE

As he thinks within himself, so he is.

PROVERBS 23:7

Our usual defense against sin may be to recommit ourselves to personal disciplines and holiness. We may believe that through raw determination we can stem the tide of impure thinking or behavior. But if you've been a believer for a while, you know that the battle against temptation is not only unrelenting but can also be terribly discouraging. Thankfully, God has provided a defense for us-and it's a radical departure from how we usually fight (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

How do we confront the onslaught of immorality we experience every day? We must understand our new identity in Christ.

Consider this example: You are putting together a model airplane. The box cover portrays a small plane, but you realize that the tools included are a jackhammer and a bulldozer. There's no way for you to build that delicate plane with the industrial tools you have. This is exactly what happens when you try to behave like Jesus in your earthly strength and with human tactics.

Thankfully, you are a new creation-different from your former self, spiritually alive, and eternal. And you have all you need for victory. So take hold of the tools you need to be like Christ by understanding your new identity in Christ.

Jesus, teach me who I am in You so I can be like You. Amen.

My hope is in Jesus because He makes me brand-new.

OVERCOMING WEARINESS

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.

GALATIANS 6:9

Have you ever felt spiritually weary-as if your capacity to experience Jesus' provision has been drained? This kind of fatigue hits everyone. In the pursuit to serve Christ, we can reach an overload point. If severe enough, our spiritual fatigue can paralyze us.

So how do you take hold of God's strength to endure? First, you must repent. "Lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles" (Hebrews 12:1). Why? Because unconfessed sin will wear you out. Get rid of it. Next, cast your burdens on the Lord (Psalm 55:22). Obey Him by refusing to carry anything He has not given you to bear. Third, believe "that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6). God promises that your toil will be recompensed-so have faith that harvest time will come. Fourth, "do not worry about tomorrow" (Matthew 6:34). Trust God one day at a time. This race can only be run step-by-step.

In other words, draw near to God-repent, obey, believe, and trust Him. For then you will be able to draw from His unlimited power supply and endure the journey.

Jesus, help me to draw near Your supernatural strength. Amen.

My hope is in Jesus because He provides all I need for the journey.
