The Clinton Optimist Club welcomed Julie Lanzone, EMS Director, and Tara Corby, EMT-P, to speak on the recent positive changes in Vermillion county EMS services. Here they’re pictured with Optimist President Becky Myers.

The Club thanks them, not only for their time, but more importantly for their dedication to the health and patient-centric care of our fellow Vermillion and Parke county residents.

Clinton Optimist Fall Soccer:
Deadline for early bird registration ($40)- registration must be postmarked by Aug.1st. Fee after Aug 1st is $50. Registrations must be postmarked or received by Aug 10th to be accepted. Registration form can be requested by emailing "[email protected]" or downloaded at " clintonoptimist.com".

Little Italy 5K/Mile Run/Walk: Participants:
Cost- 5K-$25, $30 with T-shirt Mile-$20, $25 with T-shirt. Registration must be received by Aug.19 to guarantee T-shirt. Other registrations will be accepted through morning of event. Sponsorsips for the 5K are also available. Sponsor form must be received by Aug..7th.

REGISTRATIONS FOR BOTH SOCCER AND 5K WILL BE AVAILABLE AT CLINTON PUBLIC LIBRARY ON SATURDAYS. AUG. 3 AND 10 FROM 9 TO 11 AM AND ON MONDAY, AUG.5 FROM 5 TO 7 PM.

Clinton Optimists are a service group providing youth and community projects for Clinton, Indiana and surrounding areas including soccer, bowling, 5K run, golf, essay contest, speech contest and youth optimist clubs.

Clinton Optimist Club fall soccer and Little Italy 5K/Mile registrations are at the Clinton Public Library from 9 to 11 AM this Saturday, July 27th.

Additional sign up dates at the Clinton Library are Mondays, July 29 and August 5 from 5 to 7 PM and Saturdays, August 3 and 10 from 9 to 11 AM.
