On International Self-Care Day, remember that taking care of yourself isn't just good for you—it strengthens families, workplaces, and communities.

Prioritizing your mental health, staying active, getting enough sleep, taking medications as prescribed, reaching out for support, and making time to recharge all contribute to healthier communities. When people have the tools and support to care for themselves, everyone benefits.

Self-care isn't selfish. It's part of building a healthier community for us all.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO JOINED US FOR TRIVIA NIGHT! 🌴

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Crybaby Trivia Company for coming all the way from Saint Louis to host the most fun night of trivia! Thank you to the VFW Post 3523 for providing a welcoming space for this event. Thank you to Illinois Recovery Center for their generous donation toward snacks and prizes, helping make the night even more enjoyable for everyone who attended. And last but not least, thank you the sip stop for parking outside and keeping our sweet tooth’s satisfied all night long!

Most importantly, thank you to every person who showed up, brought their energy, and helped create a positive, welcoming atmosphere.

We believe that everyone deserves opportunities to connect, build relationships, and have fun in environments that support recovery and mental wellness. Seeing our community come together for a night filled with laughter, encouragement, and genuine connection is exactly why we do what we do.

Thank you for helping us create a space where recovery is celebrated, stigma is challenged, and everyone feels welcome.
