Our teachers and staff give so much to our students every day. This is one small way we can show our appreciation and give one of them a truly memorable, well-earned break.

We are thrilled to share the result's of this year’s record breaking M+F Dinner Auction- A Knight at The Derby!- total raised $345,347.71 with 699 attendees!

2024 “A Glitz + Glam Knight” $173,373.26
2023 “A Knight in Germany” $157,965.59
2022 “A Knight at Mardi Gras” $130,313.83

These funds raised will immediately begin to impact our current students, with continued improvements!

Monday is a busy night!!!

Mark your calendar for our April Mothers and Friends meeting! We will be meeting at 7pm in the Lampe Commons! All are welcome 💙🩵🤍

Freshman and sophomore parents: there will be a post prom planning meeting at 6pm before the meeting!

All auction committee chairs and committee members the post auction recap meeting will take place immediately following the Mothers and Friends meeting. If you served as a committee chair, co-chair, or a committee member please plan to attend to provide your feedback!!! We want to hear from everyone to help plan for next year’s event!!

We are going for ONE more big online push for our appreciation raffle!

We are thrilled to share some incredible news! An anonymous donor has generously gifted an unforgettable trip to Las Vegas for one of our Mater Dei staff and a guest — including round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations.

The donor expressed that teachers, administration and staff give so much of their time, energy, and heart to our students and deserve to be celebrated in a meaningful way. We couldn’t agree more!

The ticket winner will be drawn the week of Teacher Appreciation Week, May 8th, 2026.

We are deeply grateful for this extraordinary act of kindness and cannot wait to award this special opportunity to a deserving MD staff member.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone who came out and supported this event, 60% of the proceeds were given back to Mothers + Friends—raising an incredible $2,000!

What an unforgettable night at A Knight at the Derby 🏇✨! Because of you, we welcomed 699 attendees and celebrated a record-breaking gross profit…breaking last year’s record and setting a brand new bar EVEN HIGHER 📈🎉. We can’t wait to share the final numbers soon!

This success belongs to so many. Thank you to our generous donors 🙏 for your unwavering support, to our amazing student volunteers 🙌 for your energy and dedication, and to our committees and all those who worked behind the scenes in so many roles to make the evening seamless.

And to the MD community…you showed up on Saturday night in a way that is simply unmatched ❤️. Your spirit, enthusiasm, and support mean everything!!!

We are so grateful and proud of what we accomplished together. Thank you for making it a night to remember! 🎊

Mother + Friends is proud to share that, through the generosity of last year’s auction, we were able to pledge $100,000 to our capital campaign—an investment in the future of our school and its students. THIS is why you raise your paddle come Saturday night!⬇️❤️

In the last year we’ve:

• Donated $90,000 to the school to help keep tuition costs low
• Donated $100,000 to the capital campaign
• Used Fund-A-Need money to purchase a new school bus and donate to the fund for furthering teacher education
• Purchased new CPR mannequins for the CNA program
• Sponsored post-prom
• Celebrated teachers during Catholic Schools Week and Teacher Appreciation Week
